average values for select highlighted dives
Dear MacDive Support, If this feature is already available, then I apologize. However, so far I couldn't figure out how to do the following, and thought it might be a nice feature: The ability to highlight certain dives and display the average values (i.e. SAC, RMV, depth, dive time, temp, etc.) for...

new imported dives not showing renamed computer
Hi, my wife and I both use the Shearwater Perdix AI. After our first dive trip we downloaded both computers into Macdive on the desktop. Macdive automatically created a tab(?) under COMPUTERS called Shearwater Perdix AI and all the dives from both of our computers are in there. Next I went into GEAR...

sharing and syncing across family members
Hello, Is there a way to have my wife's Macdive on her phone sync with my dives data? I am the guy at home responsible for curating and administering all family members' dive computer data (using Macdive desktop), and i was hoping that all family members could then set up their Macdive apps to sync ...

Re: Problem with duplicate imports of dives MARES ICON HD
Hi, I have managed to circumvent the duplicate downloads for a while by keeping a copy of all partial dives before I "joined" some of them together, thinking that perhaps MacDive no longer saw the partial dives and thought they had to be re-downloaded. However, after coming back from a div...

Re: GPS-Tracker
Why yes! Deleting "Unknown Site" and syncing did now automatically assign Tracked Locations to my dives! Thank you!

Re: GPS-Tracker
Hello again, I apologize, I hadn't read the instructions before, which I now thoroughly did. However, the automatic tagging is not working: 1) I just downloaded my dives onto Mac-Dive for Mac, and went into a dive profile, and looked at "Site" and "Map" tabs, but none of the loca...

Re: GPS-Tracker
Hi, I am not sure what the algorithm is behind when a "point" is created during a dive trip. For example, I recently went to Palau where on a typical dive day the boat travels 1 hour from the resort to dive spot 1, followed by a trip to a lunch break at a beach, followed by a trip to dive ...

Re: clound sync issues
Hello, Yes! I followed the above steps and the sync finally worked both on Mac and on iPhone. HOWEVER yet another problem emerged on iPhone: When I clicked on "Dives" and went to "Smart Log" tab, the whole app crashed. Now, I can't even start the app anymore because presumably it...

Re: clound sync issues
Hi, It turns out my Dropbox account was full, and that's what caused the syncing process to crash. I cleared out my Dropbox account, and now Mac-Dive (desktop) was able to upload all the data to the cloud. HOWEVER, a new problem emerged: MacDive for iPhone keeps failing to sync the data from the clo...

clound sync issues
Hi, I initiated the newly implemented cloud-sync with drop-box, but it seems the procedure is stuck: the program still responds, but the "Syncing Data..." up top does not go away, even after leaving my computer running overnight. I have maybe about 50 dives, so I am surprised this would ta...
