Re: Fail to oimport from Mares Puck Air into Mac Dive 2.0
Support for the Puck Air is added to the libdivecomputer project. I'm sure Nick will include it in the next macdive release.

Re: Pro Plus 2 timeout
Can you send Nick and myself that logfile, such that we can see exactly where it fails.

Re: Mares Icon HD
The usb drive is probably activated by the mares software. We might be able to figure that out too, but I think getting the dives off the device is much more important :-) Anyway, the good news is that the test app also works on the Mac OS X, even if there is a small difference in baudrate (256000 v...

Re: Application crash
Much of the problem turned out to be bad data coming from the computer/import, and macdive failing to handle all the oddball edge-cases. Could this be related to the data corruption I noticed already in this topic: http://www.mac-dive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=719#p719 Can you try the test applicat...

Re: MacDive 2.0 crashes when downloading Mares Nemo Excel
The test was successful, so it might have been a temporary error that goes away when retrying. If it fails every time then there is most likely a bug in macdive itself, not the libdivecomputer library.deakos wrote:I ran the terminal program and attached the two files.

Re: Mares Icon HD
Here are some new files prepared with Windows. These memory dumps are all identical. That means the pictures and maps are stored somewhere else, and they are not download together with the dives. Could you help me with your Mac program as I don't know how to use it ? Sure. Follow the instructions i...

How to report dive computer download problems?
If you have problems downloading from your device, your best bet is to email support (support@mac-dive.com). We can further advise you of whether we need additional information. MacDive has a built-in diagnostic tool we may ask you to run, so the original instructions below are generally not needed....

Re: Mares Icon HD
Thanks! I made lots of progress with this new data. I can now locate all 7 dives, parse the date/time and profile data (depth and temperature). The most important missing piece of information is now finding out how to locate the dives automatically (I did it manually for yours). There should be some...

Re: Mares Icon HD
I made a little progress trying to reverse engineer the iconhd format, but I need more data. Can you (or someone else of course) make some more dumps? The most useful data for me would be a series of memory dumps, with one dump after every new dive you do. That way I can easily locate the new dive b...

Re: vyper air and custom idea cable.
I think the VID/PID for the CustomIdea cable is 0x10C4/0xEA60 (from the table on the libdivecomputer website). Although I can't confirm whether that is correct or not (hence the question mark). On linux, you can find the VID/PID with the "lsusb" command, but I have no idea if that (or some...
