I completely agree. The biggest if only drawback on the Cobalt. but, that's why i have a spare analog with me. We DO indeed learn from our mistakes. We are a wonderous species!

I use the Atomic Aquatics Cobalt. Like the Suunto Zoop, it syncs very nicely with Mac-Dive however it is about 3-4 times more expensive but you only have one piece of hardware instead of 3 separate units for Gas Pressure, Computer, Compass, etc. If you are just going to dive a few times a year then ...

I originally also was looking for this for my iMac and MBP. But, in the end I decided that since it syncs to my iPhone beautifully i don't need it on my MBP (even though it's always with me on diving trips.) I'm not saying it shouldn't be a feature, but I AM saying that i've realized that i can wait...

Ok i'm bumping this up... cause it was never really answered. I can't believe 7 months has gone by and nobody else is in this situation to continue this. So is it POSSIBLE? I'm in the same situation.
