You are wise. I was using my old D9 cable. Once I substituted the D6, no issues. If I could only tell a 6 from a 9.....

Well, I am still having issues with getting my Stinger data to download using a pluggable USB-SERIAL converter (PL 2303 chipset). Still get the error -7 with a usb connection directly to the computer. Interestingly, I never have this issue with my newer D9 and D6i. Their cable connections work flawl...
