Re: Cannot recognize USB with FTD VCP in OS X Yosemite
I tested the cable with DM4. The watch does not show up. It's directly plugged into my MBP, tried both USB ports. Sounds like I've got a faulty cable?

Re: Cannot recognize USB with FTD VCP in OS X Yosemite
I pasted ls /dev/tty.* in the terminal window. Still no recognition of the D9 in MacDive.
I have no idea if it works with the official Suunto software. I picked it up off my buddy who upgraded. Should I test it with the DM4 software?

Re: Cannot recognize USB with FTD VCP in OS X Yosemite
No "ftdi" when filtering my console. Via a Terminal window I ran the sudo, checked my console and had 2 entries. I've attached a screen grab of them.
MacDive does not see the computer or serial port.
Any suggestions? I really appreciate the help!

Re: Cannot recognize USB with FTD VCP in OS X Yosemite
I tried restarting, re-installing and restarting. No luck. MacDive & System Information do not show the serial port.
I installed the VCP Drivers v2.2.18 for Mac from ftdichip.com. Am I missing something? Seems pretty cut & dry so not sure what else needs to be done.

Re: Cannot recognize USB with FTD VCP in OS X Yosemite
MacDive does not see my Suunto. I tried Preferences>Advanced but no serial ports are listed even after clicking "Refresh".

Cannot recognize USB with FTD VCP in OS X Yosemite
I'm trying to get my MBP with OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 to recognize my Suunto D9 for use with Mac Dive. I installed the VCP Driver for Mac OS X v2.2.18 from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm. I do not see a successful install when I look in USB in my System Information.
