Re: Uwatec Aladin Tec 2G - again...
Is that all the information that is contained in the sample files ? No device type or dates or anything? And what's the story with Profile1.csv and Profile2.csv? They seem to have different columns. Yes, it has split the data in three separate files so I have to make three separate exports, just th...

Uwatec Aladin Tec 2G - again...
I keep going on about my Uwatec don't I? Anyway, I haven't managed to get IR working on my MacBook. I have bought and returned four(!) IrDa devices by now an none works. That means I can't get my dives in to Jtrack. So I have accepted the fate that I'm forced to use Windows to download my dives from...

Re: Logbook printouts
Ah... not a scan for every buddy then. I'm sure Addressbook will suffice for buddy-info. Some user data may need to be stored as you say, but maybe you add most of it to the "Me-card" in addressbook. Someone may want to keep a certification history etc. in order to see what dives wh...

Re: Photos stored inside the app not a link
This is what happens now, in 1.5.3. And in 2.0.0, storing them inside the app is a preference, which is off by default. So for you it will be business as usual :) Thats great, I was hoping for a user option. :D You mean that macdive would edit the EXIF and add GPS information to the image ? That's ...

Re: Logbook printouts
Addressbook integration is the Apple way, It's cool! I'm pretty sure you can add custom fields to Addressbook. I'm not sure if they'll show up in the iPhone however.
A scan/photo of the cert-card might be a cool feature, but in reality how many of us will ask our buddy for a snap of the card?

Re: Logbook printouts
There's already a CSV export in 1.5.3 - I guess you can just do that and then do whatever you like with the data ? Print it out or whatever. Yes, that can be achieved by CSV-export but it's not how I envisioned it. I was more thinking like a condensed log, showing only the bare essentials and with ...

Logbook printouts
I don't know what printing options you are panning for v.2 but here's what i'd like. Logpage printout - the page with all the info, profile, weather, exposure suit etc. Statistics printout - geeky dive-stats with graphs. I'll expand on those at a later time. Dive log printout - Nice heading then one...

Feature list MacDive v2
Is there a list of the features you are planning for v.2?
Just so we can look at and maybe come with some ideas and also to "save you" from ideas already implemented or features that you have decided not now but maybe for v. 2.1

Re: Photos stored inside the app not a link
I would prefer the oppsosite, to keep photos external to the dive log. My rationale for that is first of all to keep the dive log snappy and also when i edit a photo in iPhoto the edits are reflected in macdive. I want my photos in one place for me it's IPhoto. It would be nice if macdive could crea...
