Re: Required Test Data

Grab the "vyper2" application from here: http://www.divesoftware.org/libdc/builds/macosx/ And save it to your desktop. If you don't already have it, grab the FTDI USB driver (it's linked off my website - http://thedoorisajar.org/macdive). This is for the official suunto cable. Download and...

Re: Several gas mix

Hey,

Yeah, I'm just thinking about how to handle this at the moment.

Have you done any dives on your helO2 with multiple tanks/gas switches ? Or are they all in gauge?

Well, that's a good start!

So you use the same cable for the vytec DS and the cobra ?

Re: Cannor identify dive computer

So, is the vytec not connecting, or is it just the cobra 2 ? Or both ?

And what did you update? MacDive ? Or something else?

What USB driver(s) do you have installed ?

What kind of cables do you have ? Original suunto ? Or third party ?

Re: Cannot read memory

Did you install the smart interface USB driver ? (NB: I am not sure if this is snow leopard compatible, it doesn't seem to mention anything on the website).

If you go preferences -> advanced -> scan for serial port, what shows up (when the cobra is in pc transfer mode) ?

Re: Welcome

Currently it's just stored in a generic application support folder, which is where the apple guidelines suggest storing data. You could move the file to your dropbox location and make the MacDive folder in Application Support a link to that, though.
