Suunto Ocean - FIT Import

I just got an Suunto Ocean which is able to export the dives as FIT files. However it seems that I'm not able to import them. Opening the files opens MacDive but doesn't seem to import them. The "Download Dives" Window doesn't show "FIT" as option in "File Formats" (see attached screenshot).

"file" tells me about the FIT files the following: "FIT Map data, unit id 279135, serial 385922195, Thu May 16 08:53:52 2052, manufacturer 28277, product 28532, type 99"

I'm using Version 2.16.3 on a MacBook Air M2 with macOS 15.3.2.

Any suggestions?

Hey ComSubVie, I think MacDive might not support FIT file imports yet, especially since it's not listed in the "File Formats" dropdown. FIT files are usually used for fitness tracking, so the dive-specific data from Suunto may not be recognized properly. You might want to try converting the file to a supported format or check with MacDive support for any upcoming updates.

Well, the documentation on the MacDive Help site lists FIT as valid import format (https://www.mac-dive.com/help/mac_03_02_import.php), also the FIT file extension is automatically associated with MacDive. So it might have been available with an earlier version of MacDive?
