Liquivision have released a new dive logger application (3.00) that has a different file format, supporting their new models and addtional features.

The file format is not different, it just has a few extra bits and pieces in it. It's mostly the same actually. I have added support for it, this will be available in the next release of MacDive.

I have a very limited set of data, unfortunately. If anyone has any data from the new version, in particular from one of the new models and even better, if it has pressure, that would be great. I do have a couple of files, one with pressure, but it's a very small test set.

At any rate the new version is hopefully not too far off.

WIth the update, 95% of all attempts will have MacDive crash after reading the first new dive. Reading Version 3 Liquivision files is still not solid. In addition, Each time I read the log file, to get the last dives a new Liquivision Xeo computer gets created in the Equipment list.

As a quick update to this, the problem is nothing to do with the LVD file itself, which reads in fine. There's something else going on to cause an issue, which I am investigating.

Hi Nick,

I have been doing some dives with multiple gas switches and since then, the lvd version 3.0 import started crashing MacDive 2.2.3 every time. Including with a completely blank MacDive.sqlite file.

Have emailed you the lvd file.

Cheers.
