Trouble with D4i

Just installed 2.2.6 and while it downloads from my D9 correctly, the D4i spins (beginning import) then says
"Import Error failed connecting dive computer on serial port 'dev/tty.usbserial-st000001' Error code 7"

That's the wrong serial port for a D4i. Use Preferences -> Advanced -> Scan for serial port, and you will see the correct one.

However, if you are using two different devices, you will want to clear the field out, otherwise it will always use the one you've specified (this field overrides MacDive guessing the correct port).

I would suggest clearing it, and then making sure that only one of your USB cables is plugged in. The next version of MacDive actually contains some improvements in this area, but for now, just clear it, and you should be ok as long as you don't have both your D9 and D4i cable plugged in.

I'm having EXACTLY the same issue with my D4i. Was this solved?... I downloaded the latest version of the driver and the software and keep getting this error message when i try to download dive:

"Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.usbserial-STV60SJB' (Error Code: -7)"

Do you have low battery? Are you running DM4 at the same time? Those are the common causes of this problem.

You're not having the same issue as above, unless you're seeing that message trying to download a D9. The issue there was simply two devices being confused.
