"MacDive Quit Unexpectedly" upon opening

I updated to the new version of mac dive. After installing it quits immediately. I'm using 10.6.8. I restarted my computer and get the same thing.

I'd love to hear the report, as the exact same thing happened to me. ProPlus 2.1, OSX 10.6.8, just downloaded the MacDive upgrade, unexpectedly quitting on opening. Thanks!

The simple answer here is to delete your preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.mintsoftware.MacDive2.plist) and then restart.

You'll need to reinstall your license afterwards. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks, but I don't see that file (~/Library/Preferences/com.mintsoftware.MacDive2.plist). Lots of *.plist -- mostly com.apple.* -- but none that say MacDive or mintsoftware.
