I get some icons on some dives that don't link (show) any images. Many dives that should have images do not.

Re: Crashes trying to auto add images
What do you mean "many dives that should have images do not" ? Did you add images to those dives? Were you using auto-add? If so, what did it tell you - did it find matches for them, or did it say it couldn't? If not, why not? When did it crash? If it crashed part way through, I suppose that would explain why things haven't been added.
What are the images? Are they standard JPGs, or something else?
Can you replicate this? If so, can you send me your MacDive.sqlite data file and the images in question so that I can investigate?
Sorry to not offer anything more useful, but you've raise a pretty broad issue here that needs quite a bit more information in order to help debug it. Please email support with your data and the images with exact steps to reproduce the problem.
Thanks.

Re: Crashes trying to auto add images
I mean that I have images (or I had images) on these dives before. I "see" the green camera icon for some of my dives. Clicking on the icon does not open a preview of the image. It does nothing.nick wrote:What do you mean "many dives that should have images do not" ?
Auto add Images crashed and caused the behavior described. No message just a crash.nick wrote: Did you add images to those dives? Were you using auto-add? If so, what did it tell you - did it find matches for them, or did it say it couldn't?
Does that explain why the icons do not work either?nick wrote: If not, why not? When did it crash? If it crashed part way through, I suppose that would explain why things haven't been added.
Standard .JPG images - always worked in the past.nick wrote: What are the images? Are they standard JPGs, or something else?
You have a file server for me to upload the data? It's 13GB.nick wrote:Can you replicate this? If so, can you send me your MacDive.sqlite data file and the images in question so that I can investigate?

I apologize for the delay in replying... I THOUGHT I was set to be emailed (notified) about replies to my post... apparently not. I "subscribed" to my post so I should get an email now.

If you click on the icon and nothing happens, it means there is no image file present. For example, the image has been deleted, or you have copied data to another computer but not the images.
I can give you a dropbox folder. Please email support.
