Hi, new Macdive user. I have a Hollis TX1 and I'm able to import my dives. One thing I noticed is that it always lists the surface interval as 18:15 for all dives. The first dive of any day should read 0, and then repetitive dives should have a surface interval, correct? I imported 8 dives, 4 from yesterday and 4 from today. The first dive from yesterday has no surface interval, and all the rest have 18:15 despite having correct dates and times. Is this a bug? I know I can manually change it but that's kind of a pain.
My other question is about repetitive dives. If I have 3 dives in a day, say dives 1, 2, and 3, what should the repetitive column look like for each? For my 8 the repetitive number is exactly the same as the dive number.
Thanks for the help.
John

Re: Problem with Hollis TX1 and surface interval, plus quest
Sounds like a bug. Please follow the instructions for reporting dive download issues (stickied post) using the "atom2" test, and email the results to support.
Dives within 24 hours (depending on the device) will be counted as repetitive. It really depends on the consecutive days, etc. The dive number will increment independently. For a first download of three dives in one day, yes, they will likely look the same.
Subsequent series of dives will look different.
Thanks

Re: Problem with Hollis TX1 and surface interval, plus quest
Here's an example. From scratch, you do three dives one day. Dive 1, RD 1. Dive 2, RD 2. Dive 3, RD 3.
Next week, you do three dives in a day. Dive 4 = RD 1. Dive 5 = RD 2. Dive 6 = RD 3.
Does that make sense? The repetitive dive number will reset after 24 hours ish. The Dive number is the overall dive number and will continue to increment.

Nick, thanks. Makes sense, although I'd think the second dive would be the repetitive dive 1? I'll follow the instructions for submitting the bug, will be able to get to it after work today. Thanks for the quick response!

You can also think of it as the "dive series" which is what Hollis call it. So "1st in series", "2nd in series" etc.
If you can send me your data I'll look at the other issues. They should be quick to fix, it's just that I only have limited TX1 data to test currently.
