Inconsistant use of picture drag-and-drop

I noticed that it is not always possible to drag picures into Macdive. It works reasonably well for dive spots and gear.

But I can't drag pictures into dives. To do so I need to:

1.) Edit selected dive
2.) Click photos tab
3.) Click Add picture
4.) Select picture
5.) Click open

Just dragging it into "coverflow" view would save 4 steps

Also, the photos are not centered well but sitting on the lower end of the coverflow space. See screenshot.

You may currently drag pictures on to selected dives, or the main profile.
