Can't import any dives before 04/15

Hi
I'm using OsX 10.10.3 and a Suunto d4 dive computer.
I did not import my dives for a year and eventually wanted to do this today.
But I can not import any dive before April 2015.

This is quite strange & did not happen to me before the last update. I bought Macdive in 2011 and it worked fine so far.
I did not change the dive computer or my Mac. So what can be the problem?
I tried to import the dives in all possible ways - even selected import "all" dives - but I could only import the recent ones

I would be very happy if you could provide me some help.

Hi,

I think you emailed me the same question. The most likely reason is that your device is full. They can only contain a limited number of dives, so perhaps you simply did enough to start overwriting the old ones?

If you are not getting an error and it downloads and then finishes, this is probably the reason. The number of dives you can store is directly related to the sample interval you have set. If you have that quite low (1 second, 5 seconds etc) you can store a lot less dives than if it's at something bigger (20 seconds etc).

thanks for your answer & - yes you are right!
Today I checked the logbook of my d4 and was actually quite surprised that it can only save the last 170 dives
I am freediving - so I create o lot of dive logs over the time - and I like a low sample rate.
Well - in the future I'll have to download my dives definitely more often!

Yep, that would do it.

The best option then is just to download more often
