Hi
1. Trying to Sync iPhone with Divelog to MacDive. On the MacDive bottom of the screen, "preparing data" is running continuously and no synching is happening. What am I doing wrong?
2. Renumbering of Dives only starts at 999?
3. How do I blanket change the location or dive site column without having to do it one by one. Example if 15 dives all are in the same site, is there a way I can select several dives and mark them with the same dive site?
4. I have equipment entered on the IOS Divelog app. Will they be erased if during the IOS Sync, Macdive overwrites the dives on the IOS device? Hopefully not.
Many thanks. This SW is sooooo much better than the Suunto DM5.

I'm not clear what you mean here. If you select a range of dives and right click -> renumber, you can specify what it starts at. If you are downloading from a device, it will generally start at "1", but once you renumber them to be correct, they will renumber from where they left off. Could you be a little more specific as to the issue here?2. Renumbering of Dives only starts at 999?
Select all of the dives, open the Dive Inspector, and then change the site. It will change all of the selected dives.3. No, everything is merged. However if it is your first time syncing, make sure to uncheck "Replace data on this device" when prompted.4. I have equipment entered on the IOS Divelog app. Will they be erased if during the IOS Sync, Macdive overwrites the dives on the IOS device? Hopefully not.

Re: IOS Sync and Other questions
Thank you. What I mean by "re numbering dives starts at 999" is that you want re numbering to start at a number higher than 999. The system won't allow it. Any renumbering that is higher than 999 starts at 1. So let's say you have 2,300 dives prior to your new dive computer, and your new DC only captured the last 10 dives, you want macdive to renumber the downloaded 10 dives to start at 2,301. However, Macdive wont do that. Thanks.

Hi, I bought a license for MacDive. Do I need to buy the iPhone app separately or is it included?
Thx

It's separate. It's actually provided by a third party, though I'm not aware of a way to bundle them anyway. I don't think Apple provide a way for developers to do this?

You can integrate watch apps and the like, it would be pretty cool to have bundles for desktop/phone apps. Maybe one day..
