Hi all,
I started diving last year and purchased a Galileo Luna. I've looked a several dive log applications and I like MacDive the most. Sadly, there's no support for the Luna.
Has anyone found a not-too-painful workaround for this, perhaps a way to import from one application then export into MacDive? I like my dive computer and I like MacDive so it'd be great to use them together.
Thanks,
Fergus

MacDive will import various file formats - UDCF, UDDF, etc. If you can export your data to a format like that, you can import them via drag/drop.
Re: Workaround for Galileo Luna?
Hi Nick,
Thanks for the quick reply. Since posting, I've tried exporting from a couple of different programs: SmartTRAK on Windows, Dive Log DT on Mac and Diving Log 5.0 on Windows.
UDDF and UDCF seemed to be the closest to working but once imported into MacDive, none of the air pressure information appears. (And it does in Diving Log and SmartTRAK.)
I tried using XML export from Diving Log but when I try to import the data into MacDive, I get a message saying that no new dives were found (and there's definitely dive information within the XML file). However, I think that might have been my misunderstanding: when I look at the import dialog in MacDive, the menu option is titled "DiveLog (.xml)", instead of "Diving Log (.xml)", so I'm wondering if the option is referring to Dive Log DT on Macintosh...but I can't find an option in Dive Log DT to export to XML (or anything else for that matter).
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Fergus

Diving Log XML isn't currently supported, but if you send me a sample file I will take a look. The Dive Log XML is from another older application.
Diving Log exports UDDF though, have you tried that?
If the pressure is not importing, send me a sample file and I will take a look, as it should be.
