For some reason the check for updates menu item is grayed out. I think there is a newer version [2.5] available. Is it a paid update from 2.3 or am I just missing something ultra silly.
I'd like to update from within the app if possible, it's always a nice feature.

It seems to be working now, and tells me I'm up to date, so sorry for the trouble.

If it was already checking, it would be greyed out.
