Service interval on a piece of gear

I accidentally added a service interval on a piece of gear which is not supposed to be serviced. Is there a way to undo it, to remove it?

Unfortunately there's not at the moment. The workaround I suppose is just to set an old date (yesterday or something).
There's a couple of problems with the service date. One peculiarity is that if you don't have a date set, for example, it will use the last valid date. So it sort of looks like your gear all has the same date. I've been meaning to fix this up so if you can live with an old date for now, I'll get something sorted out shortly.

The problem is that whenever the log is exported to iOS, for example, to widely popular Dive Log app, the piece of gear gives a red "service overdue" alert in the list of gear. Not that it would be a big deal, just something a bit irritating. Of course, we've lived with this little thing long enough and we can deal with it more
Thanks for the response though, it's nice to know that you've been thinking about it.

I can add a quick workaround for that, to not set a date in Dive Log if it's in the past, while I figure out a better solution.

Actually that's not a good idea as of course that might be a valid date!

Ok, I've built something for you. It should be a lot less confusing now as a bonus. If you want to try out a beta, please drop me an email and I'll send you the link. I'd love to hear some feedback!
