Disappearing Notes

I discovered a negative side effect of the auto cloud synch feature ...

While composing my dive notes, I noticed my text mysteriously disappeared. I thought I had accidentally pressed something and choked it down as a fluke. Then it happened again and again. I finally realized this was happening when MacDive is synching with the Cloud. I lost a lot of notes (several paragraphs multiple time). Yikes!

Thanks for the report. When a sync occurs MacDive will save. When a save occurs, the notes field will have its focus taken away to ensure that any notes are actually saved (this has been the case for many years).

The problem is more likely related to that, than to syncing itself, which has nothing to do with notes specifically. I will take a look. For now, try occasionally clicking on another field (which should trigger persisting of the notes as well) and that should serve to save them intermittently.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the auto synch every x seconds disabled for now. I will try your recommendation to see if that works too.
