For years, I have logged several hundred dives using DIVE LOG on my iPad.

I downloaded MacDive app onto my Mac OS X desktop, and I would like to begin using the MacDive IOS app on my iPad in the future.

Problem is, I cannot figure out how to sync the logs from DIVE LOG on my iPad, to the MacDive app on my Mac OS X desktop.

There is now a MacDive folder in my Dropbox folder.

Is there an instruction manual that can assist me with this sync transfer?

Hi,

Syncing with Dive Log does not involve Dropbox.

The instructions are relatively simple though:

1. Click "iOS Sync" in the sidebar in MacDive.
2. Follow the instructions it then gives you to enable syncing in Dive Log on your iPad.

That's really it. You will be presented with a summary where you can make changes if you like, or simply click "Sync" to finalise the sync.

There is an old and pretty out-of-date help page I can provide you if you really need it, but that's really all there is to it.
