Dive Number and manual added Dives

1. I like this program very much, I hated to start windows
2. I hope my English is good enough ;-)

I try to describe what my problem is.

I have downloaded my dives from my Suunto D9, everything worked fine.

But, I have some dives, which I made without my D9.
When I manually add this dives and enter the dive number, e.g. I get dive Number 1 twice.

Is it possible, that MacDive automatically updates the dive numbers?

E.g. I added my really first dive manually, (I bought my D9 one year later) and the first dive which I have downloaded from my D9 should now be (for example) 25 not 1. It is the first dive with the D9, but not my really first dive.

I hope you understand what I mean and can help me with my Problem.

Kind regards from Germany
PS: Is there a possibility to donate, for this excellent program?

You can manually double click on the dive number in ALL DIVES from the D9 and tell MACDIVE what the dive number should be.

Or

If you go in to the GEAR tab an click on the D9 and get the General information page. You can tell MACDIVE what to number the dives from.

Feel yourself lucky .... I had to manually number 358 dives.

Hope this helps. :?:

Dive numbering is touched on here:

Manual dives aren't automatically numbered because it is based on dive computers. But as Dave says you can tell your computer what to start numbering from.
