It's that time again. This version may take a wee while to start up the first time, as it is doing some processing to your images (photos, gear, sites, certs) to fix the problems we've all been seeing. After that, things should be snappier.

Please let me know if you have any problems.

New Features:
Added support for Mares Icon HD.
Added support for Oceanic Geo 2.0.
Added support for Oceanic Veo 2.0.
Added support for Oceanic Veo 3.0.

Added support for Tusa Zen Air (IQ950).
Added CoverFlow view for dive photos.
Added ability to print/export a photos page.
Added sorting to sites.
Added create a site to dive inspector.
Improved UDDF support.
Suunto Dive Manager (SDE) import improvements.
Suunto HelO2 import improvements.
Double clicking a dive now opens the dive inspector.
All images are now stored outside of the main data file.
Minor interface improvements.

Fixed DiveLog import to correctly read surface interval.
Fixed certifications not displaying correctly on Leopard.
Fixed VT3 deco/ascent alarms.
Fixed certification bug in CSV output.
Datamask import issues fixed.

Hey Nick,

Thanks a lot for your ongoing support and development of MacDive.

I did the upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 but it failed for me. The app would crash every time I start it after the upgrade. I think it may have something to do with my database, as when I change the name of the ~/Library/Application Support/MacDive folder to something else, it starts up correctly.

Would you like to have a look at the issue I have?

Thanks!
Best Regards
mike

Hey again, Nick,

To answer my own post, I found the issue.

It turns out that for the sites where I didn't know the site or location name, I didn't actually put anything in there, so the string was Null. I think MacDive puts the string "Unknown" in that case into the database. Up to ver 2.0.3 the sites/locations with a null string would display correctly "Unknown" in the Sites section, but 2.0.4 would fail to start.

I have launched 2.0.3 again and replaced the null strings with the word "Unknown" and it worked fine.

Thanks anyways!
Best Regards,
mike

Can you send me the old database? It should be in the App Support directory with a big long name.

Can you send me your old database? Look at the long-named files, and send those through.
