Just downloaded the software for a try, and got the instant trouble screen shown below:

"failed to update database" "incompatible data version" ???

What does it mean ? Can't I manually enter data ?

You don't support Infra Red computers like Alladin Prime -- can I use this software anyway ?

Right now, I can't even see it !

There is a long standing bug, where if you have used a previous version but saved no data, then upgraded to a later version, you can get this issue. I've never been able to track down what causes this, but it is easily resolved.

Delete this file:

/Users/your username/Library/Application Support/MacDive/MacDive.sqlite

and restart.
