Editing dive data

Stupid question. If I simply want to edit the location of a dive, how can I do that? I can't find a simple way to do that.

Thanks.

You can use the dropdown in the main columns under Site Name, or same deal under General in the dive inspector.

The site needs to exist first, or you can create a new one in the dive inspector. If you want to edit an existing "location", you need to change the site(s) that use that. There are some docs in the Help, but things work a little differently in v2.

Does that help?

Ok, so I can't really easily edit site info from exiting dives; I have go to the Sites in the sources column. Got it.

Btw, I can't delete any site info in list view. I can in icon view. This is in 2.0.4.

Apple + Delete will delete it (or File -> Delete Selected)

Ya, sites are now not just text.. they're "objects". This way map information can be stored against the site, and things like average depth/temp can all be calculated nicely.

Gotcha, thanks. But no, neither the keystroke nor the menu item will delete site info in list view. Nothing happens.

Odd - it works for me. You get any errors in the Console when you try it?

And of course I am assuming you have one or more selected when you hit delete.

No, nothing in the console. And yes, I have stuff selected. I even tried repairing permissions.
