I just took the Mares HD off the charger. There are no dives on the HD yet, but I was trying to test is I had a connection between my Mac and the HD. When I try to import dives i get the error "Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -5)" Is that just telling me that there is not dive data available yet?

Also how would I test the connectivity between my Mac and HD using Macdive?

Well if you have no dives, there's really no point. But if you look around the forum you will see a few posts about the Icon HD. There are a couple of issues that will be fixed in the next patch.

Using the "iconhd" application, which will take a copy of the memory of your device.
