Suunto D4 not syncing

I've purchased the software but my Suunto D4 doesn't sync on my Mac.
I'm not using a D4i.
My girlfriend has the same computer and the cable works on her PC.
I've tried the different ports suggested on the troubleshooting page:
/dev/tty.usbserial-ST000001
/dev/tty.usbserial-20030001
/dev/tty.usbserial
My computer scans and finds the following port: /dev/tty.FernandoGiantaglia-Wire
Every time I try to download my dives I get the following error:
Import Error
Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.FernandoGiantaglia-Wire' (Error Code: -4)
What else can I try?
