Hi,

I just installed the demo Version to test my new Tusa Zen Air 950. I Installed the Driver: FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_16.dmg.
Then I installed the mac-dive Software.
As soon as I plug in the USB-Cabel, dmesg shows:

Code: Select all

       0 0 AppleUSBCDC: start - initDevice failed
As soon as I connect the Computer the cable I see the following in dmesg:

Code: Select all

FTDIUSBSerialDriver: 0 403f460 start - ok
After starting the mac-dive-software I tried to import the dives. An I got the following error-message:

Code: Select all

Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -3)
The computer is brand new I didn't do any dive so far, there are only the factory testdives on the computer.

I us a mac-book-air with os-x 10.7.2

I hope some can help me

The problem is solved. It was because there was now dive at all on the dc. After I did a dive yesterday everything is working fine :-). Now I can order the program. Maybe you put a hint in to your wiki.

It's supposed to work without any dives too. But devices without any dives are rather rare (for obvious reasons), and thus this rare condition is less tested compared to downloading with dives. Anyway, I have your data and will look into it, but it's not the highest priority because it works for you now.

where do you download the proper driver from?
I downloaded the one linked on the macdive site, but it is not .dmg, i think it is the pc driver, and I cant get it to work...

Follow the link for Tusa which takes you to FTDI's website. There are three links on that page under "Mac OS X" in the list of available drivers. All point at the same file. Download it (it is a DMG) and follow the onscreen instructions to install.
