= Importing Data from Supported Data Files =

== Important Note ==

As most of these data files come from external sources (Suunto Dive Manager, Oceanlog etc) they are subject to change. If you have issues, please send a sample file to support@mac-dive.com along with a description of the problem.

Currently the Oceanic/Aeris importer is ropey. This is due to subtle differences between the output files that various versions of Oceanlog/Aeris create. Don't panic! Usually it's quick and easy to fix problems, provided you can send through the file that is causing your issue for me to look at.

== File Formats ==

''' Oceanic/Aeris .TXT Files '''

These files can be exported from the Oceanic or Aeris windows applications, if you would like to transfer your existing data into MacDive. Export them as CSV files (comma separated). You can then simply drag and drop them onto MacDive, or choose Import -> Oceanic .txt from the menu.

''' Suunto Dive Manager (.SDE) Logbooks '''

You can export an .SDE file from suunto dive manager by choosing Tools -> Export. Again, simply drag and drop this file (or use the import menu) to add the dives to MacDive.

''' UDCF Files '''

Again - drag and drop a UDCF file onto macdive, or use the Import menu if you prefer.
