The beta will resolve it. I'm not sure what the holdup is and why this hasn't been released yet, I'll drop Ron a line.

I was made aware of a copy of the beta FW. I haev a copy of it, but my Cobalt 2 is working so well right now, I do not know if I want to install the FW. I am waiting breathlessly for the new version, however. Lots of dives to download.

You can install it and then reload the official one for any diving.

Understood...but it is a hassle. Plus, at the time I was headed to Bonaire for a week. Why take a chance at something going astray. I have done FW updates before...but...

Yeah, it's a hassle. I used the beta firmware and had another computer, so no drama there.

I spoke to Ron and he's going to get back to Atomic on Monday and try to get the firmware up ASAP.
