When you initiate a download (from File -> Download Dives, or from the gear icon in the toolbar), you will be presented with the following panel.

Dive Computer

You may first choose your manufacturer and model of dive computer, or a type of file such as UDCF).

I want to import...

You have three options for downloading dives:

All Dives

This option will download everything from your dive computer. Any dives you have already downloaded will be duplicated.

Only new dives

This option will start downloading dives from your latest dive, and stop as soon as it finds a dive it has already seen. This is the generally recommended (and default) option as is often much faster to stop once an old dive is reached.

Any dives that have not been imported

This is a combination of the previous two options. Your whole device will be checked, but only dives that don't exist will be added. Typically you should use this option to recover from a download error or if you delete some old dives and want to get them back. It saves creating duplicates which you would then need to delete, as with "all dives".

Using the timezone...

This option allows you to set what timezone the dives were made in. By default, your current timezone will be set. If you return home from a dive trip to another country, you can choose the nearest timezone so that your dives will be recorded based on that timezone. The time will always display correctly, so if you aren't interested in the timezone you can leave it as the default.

That's it!

When you've set your options, click "Import" and your dives will download. If you have any problems, see the Troubleshooting Downloads section.
