There are a number of ways to change the dive site of a dive (or dives).

Adding an existing site to a dive

1. Create a new site, under Sites.

2. Select one or more dives.

3. Open the Dive Inspector.

4. Under General, change the selected site to your new site!

Alternatively, you can change the dive site for a dive by using the drop down menu in the main dives table, if you have included the Site column.

Creating new sites on the fly

If you are entering multiple new dives, it may be tedious to create the sites individually first. You can use this method to create and add a site to one or more dives.

1. Select one or more dives.

2. Open the Dive Inspector.

3. In General, under the drop down box for an existing site, you will see three boxes - Country, Location and Site. You can fill these out and click "Create New" to create the site and assign it to the selected dive(s).

If you then choose another dive, you will notice the boxes are still filled out. This is to allow you to quickly change the name of the site and add the new one to the next dive. This method is useful if you are entering a bunch of sites from the same area after a dive trip. For example:

  • Malaysia, Tioman, Renggis
  • Malaysia, Tioman, Labas
  • Malaysia, Tioman, Bahara Rock

Since the Country and Location are the same you only need to change the site and click Create.
